Sponsorship Inquiries:
As a Non-profit science outreach initiative, it will take more than science to create a world-class science festival. It will take generous financial and sponsorship in-kind support. Please help fund the initiative to make science an outlet for our next generation and reestablish America as a science leader for decades to come.
Exhibit and Event Inquiries:
Collaboration concepts are currently being accepted for all aspects of the San Diego Science Festival and The Science Experience Expo, including opening and closing ceremonies, daily themes and events, evening celebrations, public and private events, performances, and indoor & outdoor activities. Venues may include schools, auditoriums, outdoor public spaces, theaters, storefronts, private businesses, and city streets. We are looking for ideas that promote science and technology in ways that combine entertainment, education, interaction and audience appeal.
Community organizations, performing groups, schools, youth groups and individuals are encouraged to apply.
Guidelines, support details, and application coming soon.
Expo Vendor Opportunities:
We are in the process of developing guidelines, power and space requirements and will have them online after we finalize the Expo logistics. However, at this time, if you are interested in being a food, beverage, service, or vendor of any kind, please contact us and we’ll contact you in the future.
Employment, Internships, and Volunteer Opportunities:
We rely on the support of a huge team of volunteers, interns, and temporary employees, without which we won't be able to produce this event. If you would like to offer your time to the Science Festival 2009 then please let us know now and we’ll contact you with all opportunities available.
Current Opportunities:
Event Logistics Internship: We are currently looking for a few individuals who want to learn and be a part of festival logistics, research, and planning. You will be an integral team member in determining and solidifying specific areas and venues for our festival and expo.
Media Inquiries:
With any event, getting the word out is crucial. With the San Diego Science Festival, it’s not just about announcing a festival. It’s about helping the entire San Diego County realize that this festival will be an educational and entertaining venue for anyone, and everyone. If you have a story to tell, or would like to help us tell ours, please contact us.
